DREAM THEATER Drummer Cancels Personal Appearance

DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy has cancelled a previously-announced personal appearance at Cherry's Music in Somers Pt., New Jersey on Friday, September 13th due to scheduling conflicts. Says Portnoy: "The store is too far from the venue [where DREAM THEATER are due to perform later that night] making it impossible to do the appearance and be able to make soundcheck in time. I apologize to any disappointed fans."

In related news, Warner Brothers will be re-releasing DREAM THEATER guitarist John Petrucci's instructional video Rock Discipline on DVD in the next few months. In addition to the instructional material, it will include exclusive behind-the-scenes footage with John, G3 Tour footage, and Petrucci's Interactive Guitar.
